The electromechanical sector is our specialization

For years, we at Fourgroup have been operating in the electromechanical sector for the production of electrical distribution and automation panels, applicable in various industrial sectors: innovative solutions and highly technological products, aimed at satisfying our customers. Each machine is subjected to strict electrical, mechanical and hydraulic tests that evaluate the effectiveness of its functionality. Thanks to continuous investments in the research and development sector, and through studies, programs and prototypes, today we are able to create reliable, functional and high-quality electrical and electromechanical panels.

Booster Set, Control Panels and Generators

Our products, which can also be viewed on the site, are classified into three different types: Booster Set, Control Panels and Generators. The Booster Set category includes civil and industrial pressurization systems, fire-fighting systems and “turnkey” systems that are easy to install. The Control Panels group all our electrical panels for controlling and managing pumps and motors with electronic, electromechanical or frequency inverter systems. The Generators category, on the other hand, is that specific for the production of energy through generators and anti-blackout storage systems. Our highly specialized technical department is always ready to support the customer in choosing and customizing the most suitable product according to their needs.

A new generation: Full-App!

Among our electrical panels, the new generation of Full App pumps control panels stands out, for remote plant management. Thanks to a very simple and functional app, in fact, today you can receive updates, manage functions, alarms and have all the information always at hand. Available in 3 series, depending on the number and type of pump, the Full App electrical panels allow you to turn on, turn off and modify data via remote management with gsm and dedicated app.

How to wire an electrical panel in a safe and functional way

When we talk about automation electrical panels we mean all the control. Protection and control panels of a specific plant, such as a thermal plant or a water treatment plant, or a plant on the machine, were it is also foreseen the presence of motor protection devices, lights, relays, selectrors, etc. It is important to know all the devices perfectly before wiring. Here are the components to consider and how to wire an electrical panel in a safe and functional way.

The wiring of an automation electrical panel

To understand how to wire an electrical panel, start from the power of the motor. Usually an electrical panel of automation feeds engines that start from a few Watts up to hundreds of kilowatts, so it is good to protect the engine with a device, like the motor protection switch, which is able to limit the current absorbed by the engine itself, or it would be, it is advisable to separate the thermal protection from the magnetic one. After that, the auxiliary transformer must also be dimensioned before proceeding with the development of the electrical panel construction project and then defining the characteristics of the components, such as the marking of cables and clamps, the definition of conductors, the colors of the cables and the command and signaling. In other words proceed with the construction of the electrical diagram of the panel.

Fourgroup control panels

At Fourgroup we design and manufacture electrical panels for the control, command and management of motors and pumps in the field of industrial automation, with the possibility of offering customers customized solutions based on their specific needs. Our electric panels also include the automatic switching panels of the Commander and Sentinel series, for the management of diesel or petrol generating sets that work in the event of a blackout, or the commutation series switchgear, where two lights signal the successful switching. Discover also the Full-App electrical panel to manage a wide variety of systems with smartphones and tablets, to keep everything at hand with a simple text message.

Electrical Exchanges

All electrical systems are equipped with electrical switchboards, also known as electrical panels, for the purpose of powering and electrically disconnecting a user in case of breakdown or maintenance. The switchboards or electrical panels are used both in domestic and industrial, have the same functions but are equipped with different characteristics depending on the needs. For this reason, they can be recessed, wall or floor, the latter, due to their large size, are applied above all in the industrial sector. The industrial switchboards are also powered by an electric substation connected to the operator’s network which, through a transformer, supplies energy and, consequently, puts the equipment connected to the switchboards into operation.

Fourgroup electrical panels

Our wide range of electrical switchboards includes electronic panels, electromechanical panels and switchboards for generator sets or for fire-fighting groups EN 12845. In addition, we can also create panels according to customer specifications to customize each product and satisfy any type of requirement. Our electrical panels are real control panels capable of powering one or more users in case of lack or changes in the electrical network for a safe, functional and reliable electrical system.

Which electric panel to choose

The electrical panel must be chosen according to your needs, but above all you need to consider the type of load to be connected as a motor or pump, the power of the load, the type of single-phase or three-phase motor, the type of destination, ie for sewage, clear water, pressurization or lifting. For example, the Rain series includes electronic panels for rain-collecting systems, the main advantage of which is to enclose in a single frame all single-phase powers up to 16A and three-phase powers up to 15A. Submersible water pumps: operation and types

Submersed water pumps are industrial-type hydraulic pumps that are powered by an electric motor for moving fluids from one receptacle to another. The main elements that distinguish them are the scope and prevalence. The flow rate of a submerged pump is nothing more than the amount of fluid that the pump can carry in a certain period of time, usually calibrated per minute. La prevalenza invece è l’altezza espressa in metri alla quale la pompa è in grado di spingere il fluido che viene rapportata alla portata: quando più quest’ultima aumenta, più diminuisce la prevalenza. The pump, in order to activate itself, needs a float which causes its movement once the fluids reach a certain height. In this way the pump transforms the electrical energy into the kinetic energy which in turn is transformed into a pressure force, raising the fluid upwards.

How many types of submersible pumps exist

Among the most common types of submerged water pumps are sewage pumps and well pumps. The sewage pump, also known as wastewater, dirty or sewage, is installed in a black pit and serves to propel fluids upward. The well pump, on the other hand, is the submerged pump for clear water and is located inside a well to take clean water. The latter kind of pump is widely used in agriculture, especially in irrigation systems.

Reliability, strength and durability

Our submerged water pumps can be fixed or variable speed, perfect for civil, domestic, agricultural or industrial use, to be installed in any context and to meet different needs. Among the main advantages of our lifting units stand out the high reliability, constant pressure, greater silence and reduced water consumption.
