In a fire-fighting pumping station there is a fixed system for extinguishing fires, sprinklers or hydrants, as established by the standard UNI EN 12845, which also sets the type of water pumping systems to be installed throughout the European territory. Our fire protection groups are regulated according to EN 12845 and installed on a single base or divided into modules, which facilitate the transport and management of the space on the work site. Here’s how they are made!

Our fire-fighting groups with diesel or electric motor

Fourgroup groups suitable for the construction of a fire pumping station are composed of the engine, which can be diesel or electric, and starter for main pump according to EN 12845. The model D-J0 series, for example, it consists of a main back-pull-out centrifugal pump according to EN 733 standard and diesel engine, or the E-J0 series, with three phase asynchronous electric motor and main electric pump wired to the electric control panel installed on board the skid. The E-J series, on the other hand, consists of a main pump, always back pull-out type, with three-phase asynchronous electric motor and main electric pump plus a pilot pump, both wired to the electric control panels, which are installed on board skid.

Our submerged fire-fighting groups: SP and VE-J series

The SP series fire-extinguishing unit is a system consisting of a submerged-type main pump equipped with a three-phase asynchronous motor. This group can be equipped with up to two main electric pumps, and a pilot pump, always submerged type. The VE-J series instead is the fire-fighting unit equipped with “vertical turbine pumps” main pumps and a three-phase asynchronous electric motor. This series can be completed with a main electric pump, reserve motor pump and a pilot pump.
